Our Staff

Bryan Kotrla and Family

Brian and FamilyBryan Kotrla, his wife Wendy and children, MaKenna and Kaitlyn love to spend time outdoors.  "Gardening is one of our favorite past times."  Even in the brisk evenings of Fall and Winter, they can be found around their backyard fire pit or at their friends pit just down the road doing the same thing.

Bryan is a 1996 graduate of Texas A & M University with a degree in Bioenvironmental Sciences.  He has worked in the nursery industry since 1985.  He opened Heirloom Gardens in 2002.  He hoped to bring something to the Bryan/College Station that he knew was missing. A fun and exciting garden and inspirational retail outlet that offered exceptional service and quality product that worked well in the landscapes of the BCS area.

Donna Gore

Donna Gore, her husband Jeff and daughters Brittany & Rachael are newcomers to the area. The Gores relocated here in 2007 from the state of New Jersey. The girls currently attend A&M Consolidated High School and are embarking on the beginning of their collegiate life.  Hopefully attending Texas A&M University.  They both work part-time for Heirloom Gardens as cashiers and in the garden center.

Donna is our florist and has been a great addition to Heirloom Gardens. She has a unique style that comes with her from New Jersey. She has spent over 20 years in the floral industry. In her spare time, you will probably see her at all the sporting events at Texas A&M University cheering on the ags.  She enjoys playing basketball, softball and going out with her new best friends in College Station.

Scott Yancey

Scott Yancey is our landscape supervisor.  He relocated from San Angelo, Texas to be closer to his parents in Montgomery.  Scott has worked in the landscape and maintenance business since 1992.
